Idaho Snaps Pack Men's Basketball Winning Streak, 72-68

The Nevada Wolf Pack Men's Basketball team tied a school record with a 16th straight win over Utah State on Thursday. That winning streak was snapped on Saturday with a loss at home against the Idaho Vandals, 72-68.

The Wolf Pack had a field goal percentage of 42.9% compared to the Vandals' 52.2%. Outside the arc, the Vandals had a three point field goal percentage of 45.5% to the Pack's 25% behind the three point line.

Deonte Burton was the leading scorer for the Wolf Pack with 18 points, while Jerry Evans, Jr. was second with 14. Olek Czyz finished with 12 points.

The Vandals' leading scorer was guard Stephen Madison with 18 points. Both center Kyle Barone and guard Deremy Geiger finished with 16 points.

The loss puts the Pack at 19-4 (8-1 WAC), while the Vandals improve to 12-11 (5-4 WAC).

Next up for the Wolf Pack, they will travel to Hawai'i to play the Warriors. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m., Pacific time.
