Saturday in Virginia City there will be a pair of fundraisers for the couple whose home was destroyed in a fire last weekend.
On Saturday, January 28th, Jack and Michelle Kras' 136-year-old home went up in flames and they lost most of their possessions.
Now the town is coming together to host fundraisers to help the couple.
The first is a silent auction from noon to 7pm Saturday, February 4th at the Tahoe House Hotel in Virginia City.
Then there will be a pub crawl asking for a $10 donation. That starts at the Tahoe House Hotel at 6pm Saturday.
