RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Northern Nevada's largest newspaper is endorsing Mitt Romney for the Republican presidential nomination.
A Reno Gazette-Journal editorial published Friday says the former Massachusetts governor is "the best" and "the only" choice in the state's Saturday caucus.
The paper calls Romney the candidate who best represents the long-held values of the GOP, and says he'll best be able to deal with the nation's political realities if he's elected.
The editorial also says he has a knack for working with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, which the paper says would help him in Washington, D.C.'s highly partisan atmosphere.
The endorsement comes after the state's largest newspaper, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, endorsed Romney over the weekend.
