Two people will be given shelter by the American Red Cross after an early morning fire damaged their home on Sugar Hill Drive in Sun Valley.
The Reno Fire Department says the fire started around 4am Friday at a home in the 300 block of Sugar Hill Drive.
The two people inside got out safely and it took fire crews about 15 minutes to get the fire knocked down.
There was substantial damage to the front rooms of the house and smoke damage throughout. The people living there will be given shelter by the American Red Cross.
