Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum addressed the Republican Jewish Coalition in Reno Thursday night.
He started off talking about the United States' need to support Israel as opposed to Iran.
"We need to be honest with the American public about security threats, and I will do that," he told them.
Nevada's status as the first caucus in the west makes it a state that's important to his campaign but he says he's in the race no matter how he finishes here Saturday.
"This is a marathon not a sprint," he said. "And, I'm in it for the long run."
His stance on everything from Israel to repealing Obamacare to the economy rang true for the crowd gathered at the Atlantis Casino.
When asked if he had any words of encouragement for Nevadans facing high unemployment and high foreclosure rates:
"Vote for Rick Santorum," he said. "That's what you can do because I will turn this all around."
On Friday, Santorum is scheduled to be in several cities in Missouri, starting in Hannibal. Then, he will go to Fulton, Columbia and end the day in Lee's Summit.
