Mitt Romney took the stage in front of a very lively crowd to discuss issues impacting voters. But he didn't mention any of his republican counterparts, instead he took aim at the President.
"It was three years ago today President Obama was on the Today Show and he said if he couldn't turn this economy around in three years, he'd be looking at a one term proposition, well we're here to collect," presidential candidate Romney said.
Romney went on to discuss other differences between his ideas and President Obama's. He mentioned balancing the budget, pointing out the federal deficit that he says will stay above $1 trillion unless something changes.
He also touched on energy, saying he likes clean energy but wants to tap into more domestic oil. He wrapped up his speech by saying he wants to build the U.S. military and get the country back on the road to prosperity.
"My view is we should unleash the potential of the American people and let people pursue their own course, build enterprises that employ us and get government out of the way of free enterprise," Romney said during the rally.
Friday Romney is hosting a business roundtable at Western Nevada Supply at 950 South Rock Boulevard in Sparks at 8am. Then he'll go Elko for a 12:15pm event.
