Republican Voter Registration Numbers Outpace Democrats

The latest registration numbers from the Secretary of State's Office show another climb in registered Republicans.

In January, 4,465 people registered Republican compared to 1,202 Democrats.

Even with that jump, Democrats are still leading statewide with 447,881 registered voters compared to 400,310 registered Republicans.

In Washoe County, the numbers are pretty close with 3,600 more Republicans than Democrats.
