KTVN Channel 2 - Reno Tahoe News Weather, Video - New Lowe's Opens at Legends at Sparks Marina

A brand new Lowe's hardware store opened for business at the Legends at Sparks Marina Thursday.

The larger building replaced the old one on Oddie Boulevard that closed Wednesday. About 150 employees who worked at the Oddie location are now working at the new location and the store plans to hire about 20 to 30 more people in the Spring.

The manager says Lowe's is excited about helping Legends grow. "We feel that as this center keeps growing we're going to be one of the anchors to it and we're going to be here to support everybody else that comes in and just be a great pillar for the community," manager Steve Schoenberger said.

The Lowe's at Legends at Sparks Marina will hold its official grand opening Thursday, February 9^th.
