The Summit Mall in South Reno held a new store ribbon cutting Thursday benefiting the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
Dillard's was celebrating the grand opening of the Kiehl's cosmetics shop inside the department store at the Summit Mall.
Kiehl's and Dillard's presented a $1,000 check to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada in honor of the opening.
The Food Bank says it means a lot, "the Food Bank collaborates with all of the businesses in the community and we receive great support, and this is just another example of a great business partnering with the Food Bank to do great work in the community," said Doris Phelps.
The Food Bank of Northern Nevada says for every dollar donated, the organization can provide four meals to the needy.
