Posted: Updated:

Reno Police are looking for a man who they say grabbed a woman before being pepper sprayed Friday night.

Police say they responded to the area of Lakeside Drive and Lymberry Street around 10 p.m. The victim told police she was walking north on Lakeside Drive near Virginia Lake when she was approached by the suspect who tried to talk to her.

Police say the woman crossed the street to avoid the man. They say the suspect then ran up behind the woman and grabbed her shoulder. She then pepper sprayed the man which also contained orange dye, and she was able to run off to a nearby store.

Police say the man ran off into an unknown direction, driving a late 80's or early 90's metallic green Toyota Tacoma, X-cab, with unknown license plates. They describe the suspect as a white man that's about 45-years old. He's about 6'4", and about 210 lbs. Police say he had brown, curly hair that appeared bushy. He was last seen wearing reading glasses, a blue zip-up jacket, blue jeans and white work gloves. He also may have orange dye on his face.
