Firefighters have been patrolling the burn areas of the Washoe Drive Fire to watch for hot spots since containing it Saturday morning.

Officials with the City of Reno says in the days since the fire began on Thursday, Battalion Chiefs with Reno Fire have seen a large number of non-residents going into the burn areas.

Officials say these people have been standing in residents' driveways and taking pictures, looking at the damage, and hanging out in the area.

Officials ask that people respect the victims of the burn areas.
