Walmart is hiring about 250 people to work at its new location in Stead. The new store at 250 Vista Knoll Parkway is set to open in March.
According to store manager, Tim Davis, the store will be hiring both part and full-time employees. "We are thrilled to add this Walmart to the North Valleys and bring good jobs with career opportunities to the area," Davis said.
Walmart is already looking for new employees and many of the people hired will being working in February.
Walmart has opened a temporary hiring center at 10555 Stead Boulevard, Suite 6. The hiring center is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The center will also be open Fridays between 8 a.m. and noon.
