The Reno Bighorns lost a close game to the Iowa Energy Saturday night, despite a 26-point scoring outburst from Terrance Thomas. Chris Ayer continued his solid play with 19 points and 13 rebounds while Cedric Bozeman contributed with 15 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Michael Tveidt led the Energy with 28 points and 6 rebounds.
The Bighorns continued to keep the game close, taking 15 more shot attempts (90-75), but the up tempo pace of the Bighorns was not enough. The Energy scored efficiently, shooting 53 percent from the field, including 6 of 12 from beyond the arc.
Bighorns next game is December 21st at the Reno Events Center against the Idaho Stampede, the NBA D-League affiliate of Denver Nuggets, Portland Trailblazers and Utah Jazz.
