Nevada Falls to B.Y.U. in Chicago Invitational Challenge 76-55

Nevada is 3-3 after falling 76-55 to BYU (4-1) in the Chicago Invitational Challenge tonight.

Nevada is 2-1 in the challenge and 0-1 on neutral courts.

Nevada had its three-game win streak snapped.

Nevada third-year head coach David Carter its now 37-35.

For the third time this season Nevada had four players score in double figures; Olek Czyz, Jerry

Evans, Jr. (11), Malik Story (11) and Dario Hunt (10).

Tonight marked the first time Czyz has led the Pack in scoring while it was the second time for Evans and Story. BYU is the first team to shoot over 45 percent versus Nevada this season making 54.4 percent of its shots.

Evans has scored in double figure the last four games.

For the second game in a row Czyz had a game-high nine rebounds to lead the Pack.

Nevada shot 13 free throws compared to nine for BYU. The Pack has shot more free throws then their opponents in all six games this season.

Nevada concludes play in the Chicago Invitational Challenge taking on Bradley tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. PT.
