"We're seeing melted windows and cracked windows in homes adjacent to the homes that burned down," says Rob Carpenter of Servpro a professional cleaning company serving the area. "With winds like we had, soot gets into the cracks and crevices and it's acidic and cause a lot of problems with appliances and paint."

They say the clean-ups average between a few days to a week and the cost so far is ranging between $12,000 and $24,000 depending on the damage and the size of the home.
