From Cumulus Reno Radio:
The radio stations of Cumulus Reno (K-BULL 98.1, News Talk 780 KOH, Magic 95.5, and Wild 102.9) are conducting a fundraiser this Saturday and Sunday for the victims of the Caughlin Fire in Reno.
We will be broadcasting live with our 4 radio stations from the Kietzke Wal-Mart SuperCenter on Kietzke Lane (next to Sam's Club) from 12-6 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 19th) and 12-6 p.m. on Sunday (Nov. 20th).
We are working hand in hand with the Red Cross @ this event to accept monetary donations for the victims directly affected and displaced by this horrible tragedy that has hit our city. The Red Cross is in ‘dire need' of monetary donations to help these families. They use the monetary donations to immediately help those in need that have lost their homes and/or been displaced from their homes, giving them a debit card to get the things they immediately need to help their families.
We will also be collecting bottled water to take to the evacuation shelters and the firefighters that are fighting the fire.
We will also be collecting monetary donations (in conjunction with the Red Cross) @ the University of Nevada football game tomorrow (Saturday, November 19th) from 10a-1p @ 2 different tailgate locations. News Talk 780 KOH will be broadcasting live from the North parking lot (just outside the main Mackie Stadium entrance-look for the KOH Mobile Command Center/RV), and Wild 102.9 will be broadcasting live from the South parking lot in front of Lawlor Events Center.
