Fatal Pedestrian Accident Saturday on North Virginia Street
Reno Police are investigation an accident that killed a pedestrian Saturday evening.
Police say two pedestrians were crossing the road around 7:30 p.m. on North Virginia Street, south of Talus Way. They were reportedly in dark clothing and not in a crosswalk.
Police say one of the pedestrians was hit by a driver going southbound on North Virginia. The pedestrian died on scene. Police say the driver was cooperative with the investigation. They say alcohol and speed do not appear to be a factor.
The investigation is currently being handled by the Reno Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team.
