STEP2 is expanding so they can provide even better substance abuse counseling for women in the region.
We got a preview Tuesday of the new Mathewson Family Counseling Center on Safe Harbor Way in Reno.
STEP2 says they're treating more women every year and the new building will make it easier for them to have all their services in a central location.
The STEP2 campus will be the place to go for administrative services, counseling, guest speakers, and group therapy sessions. "Now we'll have all of those, the whole menu of services, all in one location and when an outpatient client comes in, or a residential, they may be able to jump from one group to another group without having to leave," says CEO Diaz Dixon.
The Mathewson Family Counseling center officially opens its doors next Tuesday.
