Tragedy struck in Carson City Tuesday morning after a man walked into a IHOP, shot and killed four, and injured seven others.
Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong says they're working hard, still finding out exactly who Eduardo Sencion was, and what could possibly have lead him to commit such a crime. He says the goal right now is to learn as much about Sencion as possible.
"Eduardo has been in the local area for quite some time," Furlong said. "There's been widespread publicity about his statuses of mental health."
Sitting in the parking lot where the shooting took place stands a memorial, filled with flowers. Nearly everyone Channel 2 News spoke with says they are too emotional to talk about the shooting. One woman says she just wants answers.
"I don't know," said Hilary Stokes of Minden. "I really can't tell you. There's a lot of unanswered questions.
Furlong could not give us an update on the victims still in the hospital, but says he's pleased with the reports he's been getting.
