As the details emerge about Tuesday's mass shooting in Carson City, friends and family of some of the victims are coming forward to share some memories of their loved ones.

"I think we're all still in shock," Suzy Krzaczek, a friend of victim Florence Donovan-Gunderson said. "Maybe the anger is coming. I think people should be able to go to IHOP and have breakfast and go home to their families."

"She gave her heart every day," Mary Snyder, another friend of Donovan-Gunderson, said. "There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for people."

These women, paused this week to share some memories of their lost friend. The 67-year-old South Lake Tahoe resident was a wife of a former Marine, a mother of two, and a grandmother of four.

Donovan-Gunderson, along with ten others, was a victim of the Carson shooting spree that left four dead. Three of those were members of the Nevada Army National Guard, like Major Heath Kelly, originally from Louisiana.

Major Kelly served at a military base in Korea, as well as one tour in Iraq before coming to Nevada.

"I choose to remember him as an honorable father and husband, and defender of peace," Kelly's grandmother Janet Scaruffi said. "It's such a waste of such a wonderful human being.
