Clues as to why Eduardo Sencion committed the act that he did are hard to come by. With his motive still a mystery, we talked to his former neighbors on Jodi Lane in Carson City.

Eduardo Sencion lived in a nondescript house there with his brother's family. On a small, compact street, neighbors like Bill Slabaugh saw kids…"Yes, those are the only ones we know, or have seen or talked to."

But Eduardo Sencion stayed indoors. Bill is still getting over his shock, telling us, "Normally when you hear about these shootings, it's somewhere else. You think that isn't going to happen in our neighborhood, but then when it does you think, how safe are we?"

Jodi Lane is really like any other in Carson City. From what we were told, it's a quiet neighborhood...your typical mix of seniors and families, who can't believe that the man who once lived a few feet away was a mass murderer. Frank Abella lives two doors down from where Sencion once lived. "You never knew who you live with, or next to."

He said the neighborhood might not look like much, but it's the most peaceful he's lived in. "This is a very quiet, quiet neighborhood. Nothing ever happens on this street, ever." Until yesterday, when SWAT and police cars lined up outside. Frank said he and his wife "we were watching them flying down our street. And it was controlled chaos to a degree."

A sheriffs deputy told us that Sencion moved out and got his own place in Carson City six months ago…leaving Jodi Lane with nothing but unanswered questions.
