Police say a shooting in downtown Reno late last month is now classified as a murder.

The shooting happened just before 2am on June 27th in Douglas Alley near the Knitting Factory.

Police say they found the unidentified victim shot multiple times. He was hospitalized but died on Monday.

Police arrested 29-year-old Lamar Woods, who was seen running from the scene, for possession of a stolen handgun and a probation violation.

But police are still investigating if he was involved in the murder.
