Reno police are investigating an early morning shooting in downtown that sent one person to the hospital.

Police say it happened just after 1:30 am Monday in Douglas Alley after a concert ended at the Knitting Factory.

Police say several people got into a fight during which the victim was shot several times.

He was taken to the hospital and is in serious but stable condition.

Police arrested a man named Lamar Woods seen running from the shooting and have charged him with possession of a stolen handgun. They are still investigating to see if he is responsible for the shooting.

Detectives are reviewing surveillance videos from the area of the shooting to help identify the shooting suspect.
