Spring begins next Saturday afternoon, but it will feel and look a lot like spring (calendar wise) this week. High pressure over the west coast will help move the temperatures into the low to mid and possibly upper 60's this week. At the lake highs will be in the mid to upper 50's. A weak weather system will pass over the ridge on today and will produce high clouds. Highs near 70 for the valleys with upper 50's at the lake. Some moisture will be left behind from the departing cold front on Wednesday. Daytime heating and left over moisture may be enough to produce an afternoon shower and an outside chance of a thunderstorm (rare for this time of year). By Thursday cooler air will move down from the north with highs falling back into the upper 50's to low 60's by Friday and Saturday.
