Saturday Afternoon Update:
Saturday night will be quiet and much of Sunday will be as well, with our next system not rolling through here until late Sunday evening into Monday morning. Highs Sunday will be cold, into the 40's for many of us, and skies will be mostly cloudy. The system starts out as rain in northwest California in the late evening then reaches the Sierra overnight. A few inches of snow are possible in the High Sierra and there could be some slick spots along I80 Sunday night. In the valley, some light rain is possible Sunday night, switching to light snow early Monday morning. A stronger storm moves through here midweek. Have a great day.
