Low pressure tracking along the California coast is too far west to produce significant snow in our area. Most of the activity will stay west of the Sierra crest with scattered snow showers this morning decreasing during the afternoon with the majority of the snow and rain moving south into S. California. Overcast skies this afternoon will keep the sun from shinning much today. High pressure builds in Wednesday and Thursday for mainly partly cloudy to cloudy skies. Highs today in the low to mid 40's warming to the low 50's by Wednesday. About 8-10 degrees colder at the lake.
Another storm is due on Friday however this is a weak storm and at most showers over the Sierra with just a few showers possible in the valleys.
