Reno's Arrowcreek Country Club has been sold to a San Francisco golf company.
Golden Gate Golf announced Thursday it bought the south Reno club from Arrowcreek Golf Holdings and Westera Management.
But the deal almost didn't happen because of an unsettled lawsuit between management and a group of equity owners.
There was talk of Arrowcreek going into bankruptcy and closing if the sale didn't happen. But with the sale, we're told that lawsuit was settled to the satisfaction of both parties involved.
Golden Gate is holding a meeting for members at 6pm at the club's pavilion. A second meeting will be held on Monday night at the same time and place.
