O.J. Simpson's lawyer says he's ready for Simpson's armed robbery trial to begin next Monday in Las Vegas.
But the lawyer for Simpson's co-defendant said at a Tuesday hearing that he plans to ask the Nevada Supreme Court to reconsider its denial of his request to sever or delay the trial.
Judge Jackie Glass once again turned down a request by Clarence "C.J." Stewart's lawyer, Robert Lucherini, for a postponement or a separate trial.
Lucherini argues it'll be impossible for Stewart to get a fair trial with Simpson so famous from football, films, advertising and his 1995 acquittal in the Los Angeles slayings of his ex-wife and her friend.
A state high court panel last week turned down Lucherini's appeal of Glass' earlier refusals to delay or separate the trial.
