Keeping women healthy. That's the focus of tonight's Ask the Doctor segment. Dr. Jennifer Zebrack is my guest. She's an associate professor of internal medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. She's also the physician behind the new Women's Assessment Program run through the University Health System.
The program includes extensive lab work, vision screen, EKG, body fat analysis, and multiple health assessments (such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, menopause, osteoporosis, sleep, stress, diet, exercise, immunizations). You also meet with Dr. Zebrack to go over your test results and to discuss any health concerns.
The special introductory price is $295. Total value estimated at over $650. Currently, this is an out-of-pocket payment. They don't bill insurance companies.
The phone number of the Assessment Coordinator is 784-7500 ext. 3064. The web site is www.uhsnevada.org
