Two Nevada men have been charged in the shooting deaths of five wild horses last fall.
A criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Reno charges 44-year-old Todd Davis and 36-year-old Joshua Keathley with harassing and causing the horses' death on Nov. 28 in the Buckhorn Horse Management Area in northern Washoe County.
Davis and Keathley are both from Lovelock.
They are scheduled to make initial appearances on the charges April 27. If convicted, they could face up a year in prison and a $100,000 fine.
