In these economic times a lot more people are scrutinizing their bills and if there are problems it seems we're not afraid to complain. That means that a lot of companies are hearing from us and it can be overwhelming.
So, how do you get noticed and get action without getting annoying? Set yourself apart.
For starters, don't call angry, arm yourself with information.
"You're definitely going to need to have basic details, explain what you thought the situation should be and how it actually turned out and do it calmly," says Alison Southwick with the Better Business Bureau.
Some folks are using Twitter and FaceBook to post complaints. And companies are taking notice, trying to make friends with customers. Because they know that if you lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau it can effect future business when potential customers see it.
