Have you noticed any changes to your credit card statements yet?

The Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility and Disclosure Act limits when credit card interest rates can be increased on existing balances and allows consumers whose interest rates have been increased to reduce their annual percentage rates (APRs) to previous levels if they've been good and paid their bills on time for six months.

Jill Perry is the northern Nevada director of Consumer Credit Affiliates. She can answer your questions about the sweeping reform to credit card practices like rate increases and penalties.

If you have a question, call Jill at 858-2222. Lines are open until 6pm.
