Hundreds of people are braving the cold to get the chance to meet former Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin tonight.

Palin will sign 1,000 copies of her book "Going Rogue" between 5:30- 8:30pm at the Reno Costco at Harvard and Plumb.

It's open only to Costco members. "I am just excited that we have someone to represent us, the average, the average person, the person that loves our country. We love our country," says Jerida Vochatzer of South Lake Tahoe.

'Going Rogue' has sold more than 1 million copies. It has topped the New York Times' best-seller list for two weeks.

The book follows Sarah Palin from childhood to her departure last summer as Alaska governor. Its title refers to reports that she defied presidential candidate John McCain's staff during the campaign and had gone "rogue."

The three-week tour is expected to largely mirror the 2008 race.

Michael Gabor drove more than two hours from Sacramento to be among the first in line at 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Gabor says the GOP's 2008 vice presidential candidate has a lot of drive and dedication and is sincere in her fight for freedom from terrorism and big government.
