SaveMart grocery stores are making it easier for you to donate to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
For the third year in a row, SaveMart put together pre-packaged bags of food that you can buy. But it's not just any food items. "$10 food bags and $20 food bags. Build those with specific items that the Food Bank is looking for. They're going to be the most valuable items for them and put them on a convenient table in the front of the check stands," says David Stachofsky.
If you can't make it out to SaveMart, you can always join us for our annual Share Your Christmas Drive-by Food Drive.
From 6am to 6pm December 11th, we'll be collecting food at the Grand Sierra Resort, the governor's mansion in Carson City and the Carson Valley Inn over in Minden.
And new this year -- the "Club at Town Center" in Somersett, Scolari's at Disc and Vista, the Summit mall and Champagne Family Dentistry in Sparks.
