Nevada's oldest brewery and restaurant is expanding to south Reno.
The owners of the Great Basin Brewing Co. say they’ll open an additional location at the intersection of McCarran and Virginia inside the old ‘On the Border’ restaurant.
The Great Basin Brewery and Restaurant will feature a pizza oven along with the same menu offered at the Sparks' Victorian Square restaurant and brewery, which is celebrating its 16th year in operation at 846 Victorian Ave.
The new facility will feature dining, a 'display' brewery and private dining area available for special events and parties.
Completion is expected in late spring 2010. The new location will also create about 60 new jobs.
