Some young ladies in town are going above and beyond to help a boy they don't even know. We'll introduce you them next week, but right now you'll meet a boy who's need needed to be heard.

12-year-old Fransisco Avila is the only one in his family with hearing loss. Temporary hearing aids help him have as normal a childhood as possible.

While ‘Nevada Hearing Specialists' graciously loaned out the hearing aids, it's not the same as having your own.

But they cost thousands. And, as you can imagine, money is tight with such a large family. So, a group of young ladies stepped up to help.

Job's Daughters is a girl's leadership and philanthropic organization. They raised nearly $3,000 for Fransisco's own hearing aids. "It's so helpful because there's no way we would ever have that money to get him his own," says his mother.

She believes the donation will only help him progress in school, but in life.

And she's thankful for every dollar. "Hopefully God gives them more so that they continue to help those who need it."

Job's Daughter will present the check to Fransisco next week. We'll hear from the young women and men who made this possible then.

And if you're a young lady between 10 and 20 years old and you'd like to learn more about the Leadership Organization, you're welcome to attend their Thursday meeting at the Masonic Temple on west Peckham Lane at 7pm.
