The 18th annual Phone Book Recycling program runs through December 31. Phone books can be recycled at local Scolari's, Sak 'N Save and AT&T offices.

You can also leave phone books at two Waste Management locations: 1455 E. Greg St Sparks and 1100 E. Commercial Row in Reno.

Additionally, for the fourth year in a row, the parks departments of the City of Reno, City of Sparks, and Washoe County are participating in the Phone Books for Trees program, where for every one ton of phone books recycled at select park areas between November 24 - December 31, AT&T and the National Arbor Day Foundation will donate 17 trees back to area parks!

The 17 trees are a symbol of the trees saved from turning old phone books into new ones through the recycling process.
