Reno police have some concerns about a pair of break-ins near the University of Nevada. They say it may or may not be the work of the man who raped and murdered Brianna Denison.
The break-ins happened at 4 and 5am while young women were asleep in their homes. One happened on the 1100 block of Bon Rea Way with the other on the 900 block of Bell Street.
Nothing valuable went missing, but because Brianna's killer seems to have a fetish for women's underwear, the victims are still checking.
Even if these break-ins are totally unrelated, police can't say for sure if Brianna's killer is still in town or not so they want everyone taking precautions.
Police say it's always best to avoid walking alone since the man's never attacked two people at once and probably wouldn't take the risk. "This person's looking for somebody that's not paying attention and if you're paying attention, watching where you're going, looking out for trouble, looking for somebody that might be hiding behind a bush and stuff, it's likely that this guy's not gonna bother with you."
Police have the killer's DNA on file so they can rule out false alarms right away.
