The Election Integrity Task Force will investigate complaints about potential voter fraud, and enforcement of laws regarding voter intimidation.
The group is a collaboration among the Secretary of State, Attorney General, U.S. Attorney's Office and the FBI.
"The right to vote is a cornerstone of our democracy," said Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto. "Nevada's voters should be able to exercise that right without fear of corruption, fraud or intimidation. This task force will work diligently to protect the integrity of the voting process."
The Task Force will also be watching for registration applications being discarded when the potential voters don't match the profile desired by the group conducting the registration drive.
