Nevada Republican Party committee representatives say they'll vote next Wednesday night on a late-July date to resume the party's state convention.
The original convention was shut down in late April after several complaints from a large audience of Ron Paul supporters.
The party's executive director says the effort of Ron Paul supporters' to resume the convention on June 28th in Reno wouldn't be officially recognized.
Party officials say the late-July convention still gives Nevada's state GOP delegates enough time to go the party's national convention on September first in St. Paul, Minnesota.
