Self-defense is now big business in the wake of the Brianna Denison's kidnapping and murder earlier this year.
More people are armed and a lot of them are finding what they need at the Spy Shop in downtown Reno. From pepper sprays to key chains to stun guns and tasers, sales have quadrupled since January.
They say that all the items will work, but everyone's choice is different. "We recommend to women what they will be comfortable with; what they will carry and what they will use without hesitation," says Alysha Carpenter.
Carpenter says while pepper spray seems to be the most popular, tasers and stun guns are also hot sellers.
The Spy Shop is located at 1085 South Virginia Street.
