Lightning sparked numerous brush fires north of Reno near Bordertown.  The Peterson Complex was made up of eleven fires on both sides of U.S. 395 near Hallelujah Junction.

The largest fire was about 15 acres. The rest of the fires were remained relatively small. The fires burned mostly brush and cheatgrass.

Two air tankers, four engines and 25 firefighters fought the blaze.

All the fires except for one were completely contained on Wednesday at 11:00pm. That blaze is 1/8 of an acre and is burning in timber.

A helicopter is on the fire and will work this fire until it's out.

No structures are threatened and no injuries have been reported.
