The Carson City Sheriff's Office has released the names of the man and woman involved in Thursday's murder-suicide.

Witnesses say Richard Clements shot his estranged wife Regina in the parking lot between Port of Subs and 7-Eleven on north Carson Street just before 11am.

Witnesses say he shot her multiple times then turned the gun on himself. "She was standing in front of the Port of Subs right there, he shot her. She went down on the ground, he walked around and shot her two more times and then turned the gun on himself right where he was found," says Lt. Bob White.

Deputies say there was no history of domestic violence. The two had been divorced for about six months. "I just know that yesterday he had expressed that his wife, ex-wife was trying to turn his daughter against him," says Richard's co-worker DJ Kengott.

They shared one 12-year-old daughter. "The little girl's in school. I'm sure she has no idea what is going with her family, she has no family now. Her grandparents live in Milwaukee, there's nobody here for her."

The case remains under investigation.
