
Presidential candidate Barack Obama is reaching out to more than 7,000 households nationwide for a campaign community kickoff. Obama was speaking in Iowa but his speech was streamed live to peoples' homes.
The Howard family in Reno hosted Saturday's event but similar ones were held in Iowa, New Hampshire and other battleground states.
"Obviously Reno is going to be a real important spot to the candidates because the caucus is happening so early," Billy Howard said.
Democrats are planning their presidential caucus for January 19th of next year.
