Preparations are underway for a weekend event that'll help the local medical community.

The 60th Annual Doctors' Wives Rummage Sale begins Saturday at the Reno Livestock Events Center.

It includes 20,000 square feet of items you can browse through where you can find anything from clothing to antiques.

Organizers say they are excited about a new department they have added this year. "We do have a Burning Man department. This is a new edition because so many people have come in looking for Burning Man items. So, if you're a burner, definitely stop by on Saturday, you'll find some fun stuff," says sale co-chair Kim Bacchus.

Organizers hope to raise at least $50,000 this year. Proceeds benefit local nursing student scholarships and other nonprofit organizations.
