Teacher's Aide Accused of Sexual Misconduct

A female teacher's aide at Reed High School in Sparks has been arrested and accused of sexual misconduct with a 15-year-old male student.

Washoe County school police say 21-year-old Marie Fisher was arrested Tuesday and remains in the county jail in lieu of a $7,000 bond on charges of sexual misconduct and seduction of a male student under the age of 16.

School police chief Mike Mieras says the alleged sexual contact occurred within the past eight days but none of it took place on school property. He says Fisher has been terminated and the student is back in school.
