Some residents in Carson City tell us they have been dealing with dirty water for a week now and they are fed up. Craig and Kathy Lee live on Darla Way and they say green water is coming out every faucet in their home.
They say they contacted Carson City Utilities and were told the water will not harm them. Carson City Utilities did promise to test the water last Wednesday, but no water officials showed up.
We interviewed the Lee's neighbor across the street and she told us the water is a lime green color over there as well. The water appears clear initially, but as it accumulates in a tub or pool, the green tint is evident.
Channel 2 contacted Carson City Utilities on Saturday and they told us a representative would return our call. We have yet to hear from them.
