About 100 projects are in store for Washoe County schools this summer -- that'll give work to hundreds of local workers and improve or repair the schools that need it most.
Seven older schools will get upgrades, and nine schools are set to have security systems installed.
Flooring and roofing projects, gym bleacher replacements and much, much more.
It'll take 450-workers to complete the projects -- which will cost around $33-million.
That money is coming from a combination of federal stimulus money -- and a rollover bond approved in 2002.
