Ronald Reagan was born on February 6th, 1911. Sue Lowden, who's running against Senator Harry Reid, spent the day talking to Nevada voters about the 40th president's conservative ideals.

Lowden, along with several volunteers, made the calls from her Reno headquarters on Matley Lane on Saturday. Lowden says they talked about Reagan's ideals for less government, fewer taxes and a stronger military.

"We are just sick and tired of the taxing, spending, the deficit spending, the stimuli didn't work and people are just fed up with what's going on in Washington," Lowden says.

Lowden says she'll be back in northern Nevada next week, and plans to make a stop in Carson City.

On Sunday, Lowden will attend a Super Bowl party in Las Vegas with fellow Republicans. She says she's a Chargers fan, but she'll be rooting for the New Orleans Saints.
