
Evelyn Mount and her volunteers will serve their annual Thanksgiving feast from noon until 2pm today at the McGregor Inn in Reno.
Anyone and everyone is welcome.
If you're a student who can't go home for the holiday, Michelle Ramirez and her group the Native American Student Association want you to share a feast with them. Students can go to the William J. Raggio Building at the College of Education at UNR. There's a meal at 11:30am and 2pm in room 1003.
Also, this year Bully's Sports Bar and Grill will offer its free Thanksgiving dinners again at five locations from noon through 5pm.
Flowing Tide, Discovery Fellowship and The Panama Show of 1270 The Buzz are offering a free meal to families in the Children in Transition program at Washoe County School District.
But you must first call and reserve a spot with Mike at 853-2220. The meal will be held at the Flowing Tide on South Meadows Parkway in Reno 12pm-4pm.
The Carson Nugget is holding their annual feast in the banquet room from 11am-2pm.
John Ascuaga's Nugget will prepare more than 1,000 Thanksgiving meals for guests in the St. Vincent's Dining Room, at 325 Valley Rd., just east of downtown Reno. The service begins at 11:30 a.m. John Ascuaga's Nugget has provided meals for the homeless men, women and children in the community since 1955.
