Phone Book Recycling Program Kicks Off Monday

The annual phone book recycling program kicks off Monday, November 16^th in northern Nevada.

Through December 31^st, you can recycle phone books at several locations in Reno, Sparks and Washoe County.

This is the 19^th year the organization Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful has coordinated this recycling program.

Here is a list of locations where you can drop off your old phone books: 

Washoe County

• Bartley Ranch Regional Park
• Lazy 5 Regional Park
• North Valleys Sports Complex
• Rancho San Rafael Park
• South Valleys Library
• Sun Valley Community Park

Reno

• Fire Station #14
• Neil Road Recreation Center
• Northwest Pool
• Reno Tennis Center
• Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center

Sparks

• Alf Sorensen Community Center
• Sparks Parks and Recreation
• Sparks Marina
• Sparks City Hall
• Fire Station #5 

You may also drop off phone books at Scolari’s, Sak ‘n Save, Waste Management Recycle America and AT&T offices. Or, you can simply leave the books with your curbside recyclables.
