
Authorities are looking for a man they say shot a convenience store owner Monday night in Fernley.
The shooting happened around 9pm at the Sierra Discount Market at 882 Highway 95-A.
Lyon County Deputies say the unidentified suspect demanded money, shot the owner and then took off.
The owner was flown by Careflight to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno with unknown injuries.
The suspect is described as 5’10” with a heavy build. He wore black baggy pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray gloves, white shoes and a blue bandana that covered his face.
